A beautifully detailed 15 carat yellow gold Victorian amethyst and seed pearl brooch. The central rub set oval amethyst 19.57 x 14.61mm of a bright purple hue. The amethyst with tapered  ball finials either side with scrolled gold work finishing. The  scrolled solid gold section with corded Etruscan style gold work and 6 raised rub set seed pearls either end and ball finials on the  edges. A hinged pin fitting. Length: 50.15mm.
