A superb handmade 18ct yellow gold moonstone, diamond and enamel necklace. Made by Tony Williams Goldsmith as an exhibition piece. The pendant consisting of a rub set cabochon 6.15ct moonstone surrounded by an arc of blue enamel on an engine turned background and three rub set brilliant cut diamonds weighing .08cts. The culmination of the arc a row of 26 bead set brilliant cut diamonds weighing .29ct. A central raised cushion cut diamond weighing .24ct. A gold bale surmount. Makers Mark on the back  and 1942 Williams. Width: 38.22mm. Height not including bale: 27.83mm. The handmade 18ct chain cylindrical joined long links with a slide clip clasp. Length: 46cm. Weight chain: 18.1gms. Weight total: 28gms. The piece fits into a wooden handmade velvet lined fitted box . A beautiful collectors piece.
