An incredible pair of handmade platinum, pink sapphire, diamond and seed pearl earrings. The earrings a one off handmade exhibition piece. The seed pearl tassels are formed from 35 rows of pearls, graduating from smaller upper pearls to larger pearls at the base. 33 to 36 pearls in each row. The tassels attaching into the base of a cupola measuring 19.6 x 26.7mm. The fronts are claw set with a pear and 12 marquise diamonds and 1 round , a pear and 12 marquise pink sapphires. The reverse with smaller claw and grain set set pink sapphires and diamonds. Fixed to the top of the cupola is a small claw set brilliant cut diamond which then joins a top cluster. The cluster with a central claw set pear cut pink sapphires surrounded by 6 graduated marquise diamonds. Post and large butterfly fittings. Length earrings: 63.5mm. Pearls Keshi Akoya approximately 2450. Pink sapphires total 6.37 carats total. Very good fancy colour with good brilliance. The sapphires were specially imported and graded to match.
